Oil filter wrench

Thanks everyone for the excellant advise on my first oil change on my 2002 ACR. Had difficulty with the typical "band wrench" with my filter. Is there a particular one that's best. A cap wrench that fits over the end?

I use my bionic grip.

Cap wrench should solve your problem. Or a well placed screw driver.

Do you hand tighten only, or turn a quarter turn after hand tight?

I prefer to hand tighten and have not had a leak yet. Don't want to pinch the seal.

The term "hand tighten" is subjective though. For all you know I could have massive forearms and 26" pythons.
