Mobile 1 SYNTHETIC is the factory fill in GenII engines. We live in midwest, and use 10w-30 and it works well...see VERY little oil consumption in our Vipers...used for highway driving only, no racing. There are a million "recipies" out there...pick your oil usage to suit your driving conditions. Best price on Mobile 1 Syn is somewhere like Wal-Mart...watch for sales, and watch for the 5 quart jugs as well. Suggest Mobile 1 filter as well...M1-204 .

Use Mobil 1. 10W-30 for the street, 15W-50 for the track. Some have used and really like Red Line synthetic oil as well.

I use Neo synthetic oils and fluids in my GTS daily driver. It seems to last much longer than Mobil 1, Royal Purple and Redline for me. I was really disappointed that the recommended intervals of these 3 oils were the same as organic oils (every 3,000 miles).

Here's a link to their website http://www.neosyntheticoil.com/ .
Give Paul Baker (the owner) a call. He's been in racing for many years and can give you the comparisons to the big company oils. He tours all over the world talking about oils and lubricants. It's worth your dime.

Good luck.
