I have heard of this.

Take their offer...but they are not shipping for testing.....they are going to rebuild it. Please check the MDH number on the door.....Ill bet an October 1999

It does not matter when you bought it. It matters when it was BUILT. To help you, I will need the MDH code on the drivers door. It is in a date format. Get the number.

Pull your plugs before they send it off and see if you have a heavy build up on the tips of the plugs.You may have a valve stem issue if it does not fall it the MDH the Jon is talking about.Had a 00 RT in the shop a few weeks ago with no stem seals on the right cylinder head.This is a easy fix that does not require pulling the engine unless this is what you really want.
