My BendPak 7000 lb. scissor lift. I had a buddy with a walk behind concrete saw cut out part of the slab. Then using a sledge hammer I excavated the concrete and some of the AB, then poured some concrete to make it level with the pads of the lift. I can lift it all the way up with about 6 inches to spare. :)

Installed an air conditioner and Race Deck flooring.....

The next thing to do is raise my garage door to open up at the ceiling
I've always wanted a garage like this and after ten years of busting my butt I'm there. :2tu:

Finally got it !

Very nice install. I plan on doing the same thing with the recessed lift in my warehouse. When the time comes I will be asking you some questions.

Gorgeous car and fantastic garage! I'm buying my first house this fall and hope to do something similar, minus the lift.

Very Nice! Just make sure the wife doesn't come home and hit the remote when the Viper is up. I can see the panic when the garage door starts moving.....

Bet you could wire in a cutoff for when the lift is up by using the IR sensors at the garage door.

Great job on the floor and lift!

Thanks for all the great comments, it was alot of work.

Frank, Actually it is Model SP-7 not SP-7x. I'm not sure what the difference is though. Harbor Freight had the best price, but I think BendPak now only offers the SP-7x model.

Viperfreak, No need to worry about the wify hitting the remote.....not married :) I did however open it myself once when I walked into the garage and forgot I had the lift up  Luckily there wasn't any damage other than to my ego!

Cop Magnet has a great idea with the IR sensors, I'll have to look into that one.
