I also noticed that the 2 "virtual" ACR's (not yet built) on Ebay had the prices increased to $20K over MSRP. With what's going on with Chrysler I'm surprised that yours is still available at MSRP.

Its because its an ACR and people are getting worried that when Chrsler dies....no more Viper ACR which looks truer every day....All I get for my car are scammers, low-ballers and dreamers.

Typical low-life dealers:rolleyes: like vultures on prey. Some idiots will probably pay it too:lmao:.

And that's why I could give a s**t about dealer's getting shut down.(The Wizard's being the exception of course). First chance they get to jack the price on a car, they do. Never fails.

If those cars are in such high demand, or the Red/Black/Stripe at Buds, why haven't they sold yet? They have been listed forever. :dunno:

So far its just talk..maybe tire kickers who knows.
Most likely the one that will not sell will be the
06VOI9, so after all is done i might be driving this one.

Bud's (Tom Hendrick is contact) has not been willing to deal, he wants full list and is not interested in taking trades but "will consider" (but only if he already has it "sold" to someone else will he actually take a trade).

That's pretty much why (in comparison many other dealers would take trades they did not already have "pre-sold" and were willing to negotiate on price). So Bud's ACR was a hold out (back in Feb.) and then there were rumors the factory was restarting at end of March so most people had no interst in Bud's "terms"....now that is changing. "Now" there is rumor of a new owner taking over soon, if that does not happen I would think all remaining new ACRs will be bought up regardless of asking price.

I think that pretty much sums it up. Although I will add that I bought my ACR from Bud's, had a great experience and they did negotiate several months ago.

I think some guys are already 'buying them up.' Someone in the IL chapter told me this weekend there are about 20 of them in their chapter, owned by just a handful of guys. Those guys are gamblers. I don't see these cars appreciating, its just too easy to get 600 HP out of these V-10's, and the ACR parts replacement prices are a joke. I think lots of guys on the fence (like me) got out of the market when they listed replacement parts prices. If I had one for sale, I wouldn't hold out for any premium. JMHO.
