Outside Door Button is sticking? HELP!

Viperholics,

I have a '98 GTS, and the button that opens the driver's side door is sticking, when I push it in to open the door. Eventually, is works its way back out. Just an annoyance, more than anything. Any simple fix?

WD-40 Give it a shot.

I had the same problem with 1997 GTS and the door eventually stopped opening via the electronic switch. Had to order new relay and switch from dealer.

Fixed it.

With the button in the out position, I turned it around clockwise 10-20 times. Works great now.

Maybe there was some gunk that was causing the button to stick, and the turning motion loosed/crushed the gunk. Who knows, but if anyone else experiences this problem, I would try this procedure first. WD-40 was next on the list, but glad I didn't have to resort to that due to cleanup....
