PA Vipers-Dynoday!!!

I am going with Turboforum.net at XOTIC Motorsports on August 21st.

They have dynoed several Vipers, including mine 10 times. Their staff are polite, give good advise, not rushing with dynoing, take care of strapping your car properly on dyno etc. Great guys and highly recommended. I was worried dynoing my old -93 the first time, but it was both fun and exiting.

Your Viper (or any other car you want to bring in!) does not need to be modified, Neons or 4WD cars are OK too. They have a 4WD dyno.

Anyone who wants to join me on August 21st, it would be fun to have several cars with us?

Xotic Motorsports is located in Cochranville, just south of Gap, about 20 minutes east of Lancaster. Close enough for MD/NJ Vipers too...

Depending on if any other viper guys are going I will go on that date, other wise I may try and get there before then. Just keep me posted, will bring both and dyno both.

We need to get a track day at ****** Springs or go to Maple Grove for some Friday night Grudge racing to see what we can do.

Ed, the other viper guys are going. (Well at least me!) So, you might bring BOTH vipers? Cool!

Once I have dynoed some decent numbers(561HP-714TQ is not going to cut it),then I want to take it to the track and get myself and the car thrown out of there.
THEN I WILL BE HAPPY!!!

I do not think you will be even close to 300 at the wheels. Usually GEN 2's pulls easily 400HP at the wheels or more, besides your TQ levels are going to be much higher than 400...

It is quite a thrill to open up the motor on dyno!

FLOORIN04, They usually start around 9 or so. 400 miles, no problem, just drive it atleast 100miles/day and you should have atleast 2000, since weekend is good for 200-300 miles!
You could meet me, Ed, Carmen, Kerry in Lancaster around 8.30-9.00. I can check how early we can come....

How many cars do you expect there? I'd like to get out of there by noon/1'oclock to get back with a run with some vette's. Do you think it's possible to get done by then? I don't think I'll get any too impressive numbers but at least I can see where the car's at in respect to A/F ratio. How much will it cost? Let me know so I can plan it if weather's good.

I know we have 4 vipers coming from Harrisburg, Kerry, Carmen, Angela and myself. We are planning on being there early.

After speaking to Lauri he told me if we get there early we can be some of the first people on the list and dyno sooner.

I would like to leave Harrisburg area by 7:00 Am and be done sooner.

Looking forward to seeing you there and your car. Looks like the weather will be nice.

I will go there about 9AM, thats when they open the doors.

Jamie, if you want to dyno before noon, it should be OK.

I may dyno also early to benefit from cool air.

Anyone who wants to join the B-B-Q at my house after the dyno runs, let me know. I need to know the headcount for the beef and cold beer. (Hot dogs and Coco-Cola for kids)

Yes. 6 Vipers at this point, one TT Supra.

We will meet 8.30 at my house in Lancaster, Gap is about 30 min from here.

It starts 9AM and ends 1PM.
