here are some pictures of my painted hood logo. I went a little different route than others. I started with 5 coats of stain proof schellac, then followed with 10 coats of black, white and yellow, finally, I ended with 8 coats of clear coat.
Total cost of project $137.50 and 23 hours (yes I am a perfectionist, especially when it comes to my Viper). I highly recommend this upgade to anyone, it just takes some patience, but is relatively easy. The most critical part is the pre paint work, you must get tape.
I have more images of harness pads, installed hood pad, engine and hood detail (still being developed). Let me know what you think.
