Parking brake/Horn?

Was jockeying my 95 around in the drive today. Seemed like every time I put it in 1st or reverse that the horn would honk once. Not sure but I could have had the parking brake on at the time, does this car have and idiot feature that honks the horn if you put it in gear with the parking brake on? Battery was probably pretty low at the time. I don't normally use the alarm at all.

Any ideas? Low battery? Gremlin? Idiot feature? Thanks, KW

The other day at the gas station I had something like this happen to me as well...

Parked, left it in first, got out of the car - as soon as the door shut, the horn chirped once. When I got back in and shut the door, it chirped once. Very strange.

Never happened again...

Don't recall if the e-brake was engaged or not. I guess no to that though...
