Sad, but true.

Bruce: If you get someone to part with their hardware or photos-drawings-dimensions Id be willing to have a bulk order made up. To that end, may I suggest that you EDIT the title of your thread, (or start a new one,) with a more targeted thread title:

Something like: "GT-2 / GTS-R Owners, Help Needed Plz!"

"Parts Not avilable" wont catch the right fish!

Original splitter price. Check with Jon B. He has them. Less than snake Oyl. Just haave to figure out how you want to mount it. The original is slotted so it can be extended or retracted. Still looking for some brackets, pics, specs. Herb say it generates a little downforce(probably extended). Just trying to eliminate gen-2 nose lift. GTS Bruce

Bruce,

I'll try to get you some pictures this week. It's a bit difficult as I have to get the car up in order to get a camera underneath and the weather is still crappy here.

The splitter has four large, 4" diameter, plastic washers holding it on at the right and left ends (two each end). There are two steel brackets mounted on center of the splitter. They appear to be stamped steel but could be fabricated easily.

I'll see what I can do for you.

Bruce, this picture shows how the splitter is mounted. There are two of the large aluminum discs at each end of the splitter and three of the stamped aluminum "channel" brackets centered and spaced on the vehicle. The two outer channel brackets are drilled in pairs. Inside the facia are aluminum washers and nuts backing up both the discs and the channel brackets.

I have full dimensions and addtional pictures I can e-mail or fax to you if you give me your address. I don't have the equipment to manufacture the brackets of alumininum but could do them in steel.

The channel brackets. The outer two are symetrical opposite (pairs) while the center bracket is drilled on the centerline.

The splitter is indeed slotted. The picture showing the bracket also shows two plastic washers that are inserted into the slots of the splitter so that, when tightened, the soft facia isn't sucked into the slots of the splitter.

Sorry for the multiple posts, I'm a bit computer illiterate:).

One more!. This shows the slots in the splitter for the channel brackets. Inside the white facia are the 2 1/2" aluminum washers for back-up strength. 3/4" diameter spacer washers are inserted into the slots to keep the facia from being sucked into the slots when the brackets are tightened.
