3rd drive since getting Paxton equipped and it seems like it will be along
time before I will be able to drive again. Going along at a reasonable speed
in 3rd and all heck breaks loose. I heard a few clicks and clunks and then
bang the engine locks up. Check under the hood and everything looks okay. Try
the starter and nothing. I mean nothing but a buzzing sound.

Got it towed to my local mechanic and put it on a lift. A nice chnck of block
taken out on the right side. Ugh! Things going very sloow but it looks like
the Paxton impeller broke and took out some pistons and rods, and at least one
decided to investigate things outside of the block.

So what do you guys suggest:

- button it back up and take it to the dealer?

- Take it on the chin and order a new engine?

- See if a MB V12 would fit (gotta love that V12 twin turbo power)?

- Cash it in and get a Toyota?

There are probably lots of other choices but I am just not thinking
very clearly right now.

Well, not enough cash to fix it so I may just part it out. Ugh!

Or I could just take it out tomorrow and drive it away on April 2nd. What ya think! April Fools!

Dude – that’s bad karma. You need to make 01 April jokes about your cat or something else petty – not your car!! You’re jinxed man.

WOW! Looks like you got the better deal. The dealer I bought this KitCar FE#355 from didn't tell me that...

1563Tkt_Please.jpg

..it came with a plastic water pump impeller and a recall #998..for a "pending" cracked frame. When I complained, he said he'd give me a trailer to haul this lard a$$ pos around or a fugly M3. :p

WOW, can't say the same for my Kitcar #355. It has absolutely been solid. It's incredible when you drive it around. People point, look, and shout: "WOW, look at that awesome Viper!" It's truly incredible. Can't say the same for the VTEC Mamba. So far about the only reaction I got in it was a thumbs up from a guy in a Mugen Civic: "Damn those S2000s are HAWT!"

From you constantly being on this part of the site tells me one thing. You are in denial.Just can't come to grips with the fact that a Gen II is old news. We all had Gen II's years ago, some just can't get out of them soon enough. Sort of like being stuck in the 80's. I bet you go to Studio 54 every weekend to relive the good old days. Valet your car, take a pic and you can sit back and have a pic of yester year.Oh BTW I think you used that pic enough. That [******] is like Lee jeans, played out!!!

Dear S2000 Racing Technology 10,

Next time you falsify my post make sure you run the spell check. With grammar like that you should have opted for a different consolation other than the trailer:

That's not what she was telling me last night. Well, she really wasn't saying much; her mouth was kind of full.

Let's see a picture of your SRT-Honda so I can desecrate it with MS Paint skills nearly as poor as yours.
