Some time back, I posted pics of my car stacker, in preparation for my DLM car. Well my car arrived, so I finally got to use it the way I had originally planned. I just wanted to point out that I am now using just one space in my garage to hold 3 vehicles, as you can see from the photo, effectively allowing me to store 6 vehicles in my garage.

This site removes pics that are linked from the viper alley web site -- they dont like them :(

Yup - makes total sense - huh!

Yeah. Well, I was FORCED by this site to host my own file elsewhere, so here is a pic for you guys. I've got my two vipers, motorcycle and about 12 wheels/tires (behind the bike) all in once space in the garage. And yes, the motorcycle just pulls out backwards behind the post without having to move any of the cars from the stack side. Above the tires are cabinets where I have all my racing gear (helmets, gloves, fluids, chargers, etc.) Leaves me with 3 spaces in my garage to do other things :)

SOmebody asked previously -- the floors are original concrete that was acid stained to look somewhat like marble. CHeap and easy.

Way, cool. Who makes the lift and what type of clearance do you need to have one?

Guys, I only have a 10 1/2 foot ceiling. The top viper is raised to within a inch or so from the garage door, and as you can see from the pics, I have P L E N T Y of space under the lift to park just about any car.

THe lift is a Cytech Double Park -- runs about $4K with accessories. It's great because you can add these wheel (optional) to the lift, and the lift will lift itself onto the wheels and you can roll it around. Also, if you're viper is lowered, be sure to get the aluminum approach ramps.

I'm thinking about getting a second one to place next to the one I have so I can get 4 cars into two spaces.

I'd like to learn more about that cheap floor process. Heck it's better than that crap people paint on and it peels off. They sell those kits for $50-$250 and they don't work. You idea sounds cool.

Well, cheap is relative. It cost me around $2.69 per square foot. Price was lower than that, but I wanted it sealed with an expensive sealer, and that brought the price up, plus they do all the labor. I could have gone with a race deck, but I wanted something that looked like my garage floor was made out of marble -- I wanted to be different. Only draw back is it is now very slippery. My lady drove into the garage way too fast one day after it had rained, and she slid her car right into the freezer - D'oh!

Just call up flooring guys and tell them you are interested in acid or chemical staining your concrete. Lots and lots of higher end homes and restaurants out here are starting to do this instead of putting down tile or stone.

Not that we would, but my parent's garage has like an 11' or 12' ceiling. Would this be "enough" to fit let's say a Viper and a family sedan ( dad is getting the 300C ).

My ceiling is 10 foot 6 inches tall, and I can fit our BMW 330i under the viper, so that should give you an idea. At 12 feet, you could probably damn near park a mid sized truck under there.

Manny,

I saw your car at DLM. I didn't know it was yours. You have done alot of body work, it looks nice. I was visiting my Parents in Miami and Adam wanted me to check on his car. When I stopped in at the shop I saw your car. I think if I remember correctly you had the interior done by snakehydes is that correct? Doug gave me a walk through of his shop I must say I was very impressed.

I plan to head down with Adam to pic up his car when Doug is complete. We all should meet for dinner or lunch. It would be a great photo oportunity.

Regards,
Br

ATJ, to be honest, I love the way the car sounds, but the sound of it is too loud overall. You can't appreciate how loud it really is on the video. So I am working on something to bring the decible level down and then all will be perfect. Other than that, I am very happy with the car.
