I just bought and got this hid kit locally here in ny. It's a direct bolt on, with no splicing or hacking of wires. The kit is made by Hella and it is 8500k the brightest you can get I got both headlights and fog lamps done for $1100 installed. The fogs are by far the best, they look much brighter than the headlights lol. I dont even use my headlights anymore

I have an appointment with Ersh on thursday, the guy we meet there on sunday for the HIDs for both headlights and foglights....$1000.00 for both installed.

I think the lower temp gives a whiter light while the higher temp gives that bluish BMW color light that looks more like the blue tinted halogen bulbs all the sport compacts have.

I have to agree with Jeff, my lights look very blueish (if there is such a word lol)
