Pics of Viperfreak\'s Snake Head Shift Knob!

Pics of the Viperfreak's shifter! Definitely one of the most unique shift knobs I have seen in a Viper! Do the eyes actually light up?!?

Not my personal taste - but it does look pretty cool. I would like to see it at night with the eyes lit up.

Did you have it custom made??

for all interested that shifter is sold at autozone for 14.95 the only problem is that the outer chrome coating wears out with use, reveiling yellow plastic structure

No negative jabs because it looks fun. It is not a permanent mod so you can always go back when it starts to turn yellow.

Re: Pics of Viperfreak\'s Snake Head Shift Knob!

when i saw the first picture, i swore it was a B&M shifter, or the shifter in the 96's wrapped in aluminum foil, however, it is a pretty cool piece, i dont think i would ever use it though, little to gaudy for my taste. If it were some other color than solid chrome, maybe a rubber grip, so it doesnt stand out so much, maybe, but all in all, very bold piece

H to the Izzo, hizzle fo' shizzle.

That thing would be cool to **** around for a few weeks, scare some small children and then put it back to OEM, no harm done!!

Basically, it looks like what it costs, but it's fun. I don't want one. I don't see someone who has one keeping it on their Viper for long. But for a short time? Sure, why not? Fun.

Gerald,
Are you playing with a GameBoy in traffic or is that some new radar detector I've not seen attached to the windshield?

Looks like a fun, eye-catching toy.

The snake's head shape is actually pretty interesting.
I could be tempted if it were available in carbon fiber, as it wouldn't look so BLING.

Enjoy,
-Dean.

No GPS. The thing up top is the G-tech pro. So far the accuracy of the 60' 1/8 mile and 1/4 mile times is UNbelievably accurate. The horsepower and torque? I ran an 8.1 1/8 mile time at the local dragstrip. The HP shows 375. On another run (admittedly slightly downhill) I ran 7.5 seconds and the HP showed 787! OKOK, so the instruction book says make sure it's flat and do a full 1/4 mile to get accurate HP and torque. I just wish it were true!
