plug Problem solved now this...

finally got the spark plug out, plugs done and good to go, so im about to close my hood and notice...I dont have a d*mn power steering reservoir cap!? this is turning out to be a good day!? called several parts tores and no one can get one and dealer said they have to order one, thirty bucks. for a **** plastic cap that wont stay on anyway?

From what I heard, this happens because the reservoir and cap are made out of different materials that expand from heat at different rates. You might go to your parts store and try out some PS caps from, say, a Dodge Ram pickup, or other similar-year Dodge vehicle, since I doubt that Dodge designed a PS cap special just for the Viper.

Most auto stores carry "Help" products. They make a Jeep power steering cap that looks very much like a Vipers. If you buy an extra...you will never lose another.

just be glad you noticed the cap was missing before you ended watching your viper burn to the ground from inside of the car!

that would have really ruined your day..
