I saw a genII with gen III wheels on it once. Didn't look good to me. Stick to the originals or for bling factor, get some nice aftermarket ones and lower the car.

Trick question. In your images the Gen III wheels were probably photo'd in daylight. The Gen II car is shot at dusk. Hence, the "bling" looks way higher for the Gen III. In real life, I prefer the Gen II on the GTS.

I like the look of the GenIII wheels on that GTS, especially on a black car they look lovely. Think the GenIII with more spokes, look more ****; rather than the bigger only-5 'fat' spokes which look more show-and-shine (personally I never have liked the later GenII wheels) love the '96-'98 GenII wheels (but not the corrosion factor under the clear-coat that comes with them, after time living in a rainy country). Go for what you like though, not what others prefer! Consider ride (run flat profile tire), rolling circumference? (if greater will gear up), tire options ie handling too!

Gen 2!! Too much "air" in the Gen III, showing too much stuff (junk) behind the wheel. Just my opinion.

Concur with Nadine... 96 ~ 98 look, though specifically the 97 ~ 98 forged versions. Personally don't like any other OEM Viper wheel.

Thanks for all the feedback. It's interesting that GenII is nearly unanimous. I will post it on the VGX forum to see if the results are different

I love the gen 2 wheels always have they are my favorite wheel for the viper, I even like them better then all the aftermarket wheels.
