There's a lonely 2002 GTS sitting in a dealer's lot in Webster NY. I stopped in to look and the car was filthy. It's been sitting outseide in the weather for who-knows-how-long. Bad dealer, bad!

HA I will be in Webster in just a couple days. Driving my Viper from Tampa to Webster. Is it the dealership on Empire Blvd or is it Ridge Rd? I think my nephew who is in high school actually works there part time.

I can put a down payment on it for you, if you want. Just send me the money by Western Union

It's located at the one on what I think is Ridge at that point. On the south side of the street between Hegedorns and West Webster. It's parked next to the Ridge entrance alongside a used Vette.

While I was on a business trip to Houston recently, I stopped at the local Dodge dealer to check out five Vipers he had in stock. A couple of left-over '01 ACR's and 3 '02 RT/10's. Sad to say that they were all poorly kept. Everyone of them was outside and quite dirty, water spotted and had swirl marks galore. One of the '02 RT's had a door alignment problem - wouldn't even close properly - and a dead battery too - wouldn't even crank over. Another had a hood alignment problem. The salesman was pretty embarresed. This from a dealer who said he had two Viper tech's. Sales Manager offered me my choice at full sticker and would arrange transportation to CT. I passed.

Mike the NY chapter is based out of NY City. This is not Florida. There is no Viper activity anywhere upstate period! To many polishers (Posers)for my liking anyways.

Geesh. Get your head out of your tailpipes! I take exception to that. My snake hasn't been waxed since last summer and I've put 5k miles on it this winter. There are bland spots in the waxed finish where I had to use GoofOff to get the tape glue that was baked onto the car from racing/autocrossing. Maybe you should come up here for the Wine Fest at the Glen and we can show you that we know how to drive and make wine. (Besides it's a really, really fun time even if they won't let us out on the track that day...)

Like I said Real racers don't use tape to protect the car from track debris.

No silly, tape to hold my confounded numbers one since the magnetics won't work on a Viper. Do you get out much?
