Portland Int\'l Raceway Invite FRIDAY!

Most of you have events in TX, IL, NV, etc, but:

Anyone wanting a tour of PIR-Portland Friday (or Saturday) will find me there. Instructing, Pacing, Radar-operator, etc. Come join the fun if you are in the area........8-hour enduro Saturday. I'll check back in Monday!

I have come to the conclusion that I live in the wrong part of the country....

Just not enough tracks up here I guess. hrmmm.... building a track would be fun. AND exPENsive....

JonB - I was in Portland last week for business (in Clackamas 4-5 times a year) stayed at the downtown Marriot. That is a beautiful downtown you have there....Where is the track at?

PIR is located just off the Columbia River, on the OR/WA border. Just 5 miles No. of downtown Portland, on I-5. 55 miles from my home... Tony, this weekend is the LAST event of the year at PIR. Our once-a-year-rain starts next week......and lasts til April !!!!

The Alfa club is having their Fall track day PIR on October 28th. They usually require a membership in the BMW, Porsche, or Alfa clubs to drive, but the prices are quite reasonable. Membership in the Alfa club is something like $40 a year and the track fees are around $80.

I won't be driving my Viper, but I will be out there in my Z28 testing some new coil overs. Come on out and drive or watch. The Alfa club puts on a great event.
