Is it better to remove the spring or the O-ring. I had two respected people give different advice. Is one better than the other? Or is it like the way you hang the tiolet paper roll, over the top or from the bottom. Either way it gets the job done!!!!

I pulled the oring and have Tom's 40mm rear calipers. With Brakeman 3's all the way around and a 3.15 front/3.35 rear tire set up, there is no rear wheel lock-up. This has been repeated many times, but, the difference is phenominal

I have posted on this subject before.
I have an identical setup to Jack's on my GTS other than 345's (rather than 335's) on the rear.

In Iowa, I braked too late at the end of the long straight and locked up (and flat spotted) the front wheels (I think it was driver's side).... the rears did not lock.

This is the first time I locked any wheels since I got this setup last year so, till now, I could only speculate as to which would lock first... now I know the setup is safe.

We were at the Gingerman track last Friday. I have Tom's brake upgrade with Brakeman 3 pads and removed the prop valve seal before going down there. At no time did the back lock up. This is my third time to this track...the first two were with a stock set up. IMO, no comparison between stock and this set up. I am so pleased with this arrangement that I think I'll leave the EBCs on the shelf. The smooth, yet aggressive, stopping power is worth a little extra cleaning. I have much more confidence in the stopping ability of the car now. This is a great upgrade!
