PS2'S at the drag strip?

My car has 20 inch ps2's on the rear. Do these need any burnout or do I need to drive around the water? I have a grudge race with a buddy of mine that has an LS1 camaro vert with airflow research heads,4400 convertor,big roller cam...bla bla bla He won't race me in the Coronet so I need some launching advice with ps2's

Drive around the water. psi around 20-22.

Go around water. Heat them up well and they will hook great.

Lower the tire pressure to 20-24 psi. Drive around the water and back into it. Roll forward out of the water about 12" so that you are not onto the rubber already on the track. Do a 5 second burnout to warm the tires up. Roll up to the line & stage.
