Discussed many times.

It's not easy since you'll have to find the correct wires in the steering column and you'll still have to turn the ignition on with the key. I've thought about it a long time ago and it's just not worth the headache.

If you just want to turn the starter on with a button it's feasible but how much effort do you want to go through to install a button instead of turning your key an extra 20 degrees?

It's possible. I've seen it talked about before..

Main headache is:
1. Install is a pain
2. The key is still needed, and you need to turn it just before the point of ignition... so kinda useless... But still sweet!

Someone did a really clean install in the location where the cigarette lighter is using the push button from an S2000

yea that honda start button install was very sweet, almost tempted for the look but need the cigar lighter for other gadgets, but guess that could be overcome as well

The Gen III button is pretty simple to use too... it is held in place to the bezel with two screws.... call one of the viper breakers out there... part should be pretty cheap.

Off topic, but since I've moved from a Gen 2 to a Gen 3 and now have a "start button," virtually every time I start the car, I turn the key and get momentarily frantic that the battery's dead!

That is just too weird. When the battery died in my GTS the other day and I turned the key...........nothing.............my first thought was.......... did I install a push button and forget I did it?

Can anyone cofirm which wire going to the ignition switch needs to be tapped into?I did this mod on an 04 hemi ram truck and it was the yellow wire on that install.
