The Gateway VCA is having a Dyno Day on Saturday 4/8/01, which I'm planning on attending.

My question is, "Am I better off disconnecting the battery to clear the computer to get the best run, or leaving it with what ever it (the computer) has learned up to this point?"

The car is a 94 if that makes any difference.
Does it make a difference on any years?

Thanks, Rich

Thanks! I'll post the results as soon as I get them.

I'm curious to see how close the online calculator dynos are (from quarter mile MPH) to what a real dyno says.

The different online calculator dynos have said 406 HP, we shall see.

Don't do it! Your computer should have good usefull information. If you clear it it will have to relearn and it does this with trail and error. Vipers run poorly for a while when the CPU gets wiped...
