Question for the Battery Tender crowd..

What is your voltage reading at the battery when the unit is on float charge?
I put my voltage meter on the battery terminals and got 13.40 volts.. Just wondering what everybody's float voltage is?

A fully charged battery will read 12.6 volts,charging systems are safe in the 13.7-14.9 volts range. I would say your charger is operating normally & is putting a slight charge in the system.
