I have an old DeVilbliss 502 paint gun that I use to touch up my side sills (makes this thread Viper related). Anyways, it worked great the last time but apparently I didn't clean it out well enough and now it is clogged. Any suggestions on cleaning? Taking it apart? Or maybe there is a service that does it?

take it apart, use lots of laquer thinner, little brushes. It's not complicated at all.
You can do it, Chuck!!!:2tu:

Explaining Viper things to you
It's probably the needle and tip. Soak them in paint stripper making sure there are no gaskets or seals still on them. Then wash in thinner. Be careful not to damage any of the fine surfaces right at the tip/needle interface.

Got it. I took the whole assembly apart and noticed some small gunk build up where the needle slides through the gun. I used a thin jeweler's file and carefully picked away at it. Put it back together and now it's going full blast.
