Hey guys,
I am about to Stroke my 650R - I have decided to go with the new Hennessey 543 Bottom end kit(Rods, Pistons, Crank, etc...)
Now, from time to time I have heard on this board comments to the negative about going with a Stroker. I would like to solicit some opinions as to why that could be the case. Will the car run hotter? Will the bigger stroke beat the bearings? What are my risks?
I am PERFECTLY happy with my current power output from my 650R - but why not add power and strengthen the bottom end? Now, I plan on doing the install work here in Atlanta - same folks that did my 650R install.
** Also, for those of you that may want to post negative stuff about HMS in this thread, please do not. I am over it, and a loyal, happy, customer. I want feedback here that addresses my question - not your soapbox.
Best Regards,
