I don't know, but there are several here in the metroplex. So you're thinking about losing the vette eh? Go for it! These things are a lot more fun! Not nearly as comfortable, but a lot more fun. I think you can go to the faq and find out the production numbers. I've seen them floating around here before.

If you look under the Viper Registry on this site, you will see 159 were made in 2001 including ACR's.

at the top of the screen in the red bar look for Viper Registry- then click on VIN info and it will give all the production numbers up til 2001.
