Radiator line to overflow bottle clamps at Murray\'s
I haven't been able to drive my car long enough to test if my new radiator cap or clamping the lines fixed my overflow bottle puknig problem but I wanted to share a quick fix with everyone. The top line off your radiator surrogate tank (the one with cap) goes from rubber to metal to rubber into facia. These are just push on fittings and I've read alot about these drawing in air once car cools down and they do not properly fill surrogate back up.
A $3 fix is at Murray's Discount Auto and probably every large auto parts store. It a pack of squeeze hose clamps in that section of products called Help. They've got everything like door handles, washers, etc. There are 8 clamps, 2 of each size. The larger black ones fit the top two connections perfectly, and the next size down fits the connection(this is a different size) before the tube routes into the facia.
