Just came home and saw coolant leaking out at a fair speed out of the radiator. It appears to be on a seam on the back side of the radiator (close to the fins are). My question is is it worth taking it out myself and repairing it at a shop or just buying a new radiator? To those that have done a radiator swap, how long does it take?
Thanks

Won't take long; disconnect the hoses, a few bolts up top, it slides into a tray at the bottom. The fan shroud is attached to radiator, so that can be changed when it's out. As I recall, it's an obvious job - what you see is what you do, there were no hidden things to make it longer.

It probably makes sense to upgrade the radiator if it needs to be removed anyway. We use the Fluidyne and it works great! I believe we still have one in stock if you are interested. If yuo haven't upgraded the fan assembly on your 97 to the 98+ upgraded one, I would highly recommend this as well.Rad hoses and thermostat may make sense too. Since you are so close, give us a call at 408.562.1000. We should have all of the above in stock for you.
-thanks
