Hi guys
There was a group buy on Sean Roe SCT programable tuner. We had our Dyno Day yesterday. I was able to program my car for the 3 pulls on the 3 tunes by Sean Roe. I have all my prevous Dyno pulls with there modifications and that is what I'm basing my evaluations on. My last Dyno pull was on 10-03-07 and I produced 457 RWHP and 479 RWTQ. Yesterday's dyno pull on 91 octane setting produced 470 RWHP and 517 RWTQ, and 93 octane pruduced 477 RWHP and 528 RWTQ, and 94+ octane produced 479 RWHP and 527 RWTQ
Bottom line I gained 22 RWHP and 49 RWTQ. I'm not a motor head in any sense. The only modification that I made since the 10/07 pull, was that I installed a Quaife Dif., I'm not sure if the tune or the Quaife would of given me all that extra torque. Can't wait for autocross. Nice tunes Sean.:2tu:

Is this on a do it yourself hand held programmer? What kind of different settings are there? How much?

octane booster kinda makes these results flawed unless you ran octane booster on the runs in 07 as well.

It was the same Dyno machine, but different place. This is not a scientific study just my personel satitic. I try to keep good notes on my modifications prior to the dyno . Yes it is a hand held programmable tuner, and very easy to run. There was a group buy on the suppliers forum. I use a octane boost in 07 but that one is no longer available so I had no choice to pick out a new one.

Great #'s for the cost invested. Hope to hear good things from others who made the group buy. This may become a must have upgrade.

Well as long as you used some kind of octane booster the first time your comparing apples to apples

I forgot to tell you guys, we provided the calibration for the 2006 Viper SRT-10 coupe that Stan Wilson races in SCCA T1 just before the Daytona race on May 4th. He stopped in and picked up the one I held for him on the group buy. He qualified second behind a Corvette using the MOPAR provided PCM tune, then put ours in for a test before the race. He went 0.26 seconds a lap faster and stayed with the calibration for the race. He won the race. ;)

Great stuff Sean. Maybe sometime in the near future, you can set up another group buy.

Sean,

I bought an SCT a while back from you guys with a 91 and 93 octane flash based on the mods my car has. I like the increase in performance, but I think there's a bit more to be had. If I get a dyno pull (or pulls) done with A/F for each flash can you fine tune the flashes I have? If so, what would the cost be?

Thanks for a great product.

I highly recommend the SCT unit from Roe Racing! Sean worked with me at his shop and made the car everything it can be under my current racing rules. Thanks for fantastic service Sean, and great products!!

Yes you can and the cost is a whopping $0.
