Just committed to DLM for supercharger and intercooled system. Boy Am I excited. I haven't felt this good since my days in the back seat of my car when I was single! :p LOL Anyway I spoke in length with Doug and he's a great guy. I really feel confident and comfortable with his honesty and integrity. He never had anything to say but good things about all the top Tuners out there.

However the only concerns I have are that being all the way up north in New York I was wondering what happens if I have any problems that need attention with this system. I know that his systems are time proven and reliable but what to do if something occurs. Will I have to ship my car down to Florida or can I have someone up here that has worked with doug?

And last but not least are there any owners of DLM systems that have been in and running for 2 or more years on Gen 1 cars that can tell me their experiences.

Thanks

Adam

New York, where else?
I think Dan Black has a DLM SC.

I am sure that I heard discussions about this at the last Zone R. at Englishtown and the word was that YES, you have to ship back. Why wouldn't you have gone to Sean Roe's set-up. I'm curious.

Chuck Tator has put some in and he is in New York, and you are in New York. Sounds like a no-brainer to me.

I dont think sean Roe's kit works on a Gen 1 car.

Adam i'm not sure of a gen 1 car's but I know that there are Several Gen 2 cars that are just as strong 2 years later with no problems! Gerald and Many others can chime in here. My system is nearly a year old with no problems.

Hey Drew, Sean doesn't have a gen 1 supercharger yet, and from what I am hearing it won't be out until next spring. Sean does a great bolt on system for Gen 2 engines.

I had a 94 RT for about 2 years, supercharged by DLM.. Man, I remember those days... EVERYONE was giving me flack about it when DLM burst in the S/C'ing scene on Vipers. I can recall so many threads and jabbing remarks by soooo many ppl that NOW have superchargers and/or are superchaging.. FUNNY STUFF! I guess you don't believe it can be done until you have one or just stop doubting and beleiving in someones ability.. I remember ppl saying why have all that power if you can't use it. Sorry, I'm going off on a tangent.

Yes, I've had a GenI , S/C'ed for a couple years by DLM. What kind of special maintanence are you thinking of? It's nuts and bolts. Just have a COMPENTANT mechanic. I can't think of any other maint. to be performed except chaning you cars oil and possibly belt replacement after a year or so to freshen the car up..

What level are you getting?

2 Totally different animals.. Both are great, but apples and oranges.
