Recall Questions???

Hi all, I have a 96 GTS, I know there are recalls on the alarm, side glass rattle,NGR,rivets on lower side sills, etc. Is there any time limit in which these repairs are to be made, or can I still have them performed? Thanks...00PROWLER...

There are several TSB's - technical service bulletins - but only the 998 and 999 recall if memory serves me. Recalls can be performed at any time, but I think TSBs must be completed under the original manufacturer's warranty period. TSB's are issues, but not safety related.

Janni is 100% correct on the above. The 998-999 were true Federal Recalls, and affected frame / steering rack on 96.5 - 2000.

The other tru recalls on 1996 GTS (only) were related to rear O-2 sensor wiring harness reroute on some early cars...and some early cars were also recalled to install the ugly airbag notices left off of the pristine sun visors. (Yeah, right, I ran out and had THAT recall done real quick!!!!)
