Recommendations for \'00 GTS suspension?

I'm looking at doing some road track events with my car and was wondering if anyone could recommend some suspension mods.
I'll be spending most of my time just driving in the city, so I'm not looking for anything to radical.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

By the way, I'm wanting to kick Snake Bitten's ASP at Brainerd this Aug. So I need to do my homework :D

Shouldn't be too difficult since his Viper will just sit in the parking lot lookin' pretty.

You didn't say how much you wanted to spend. Brakes and wider front wheels would be my choice.

Track alignment is a cheap and good way to start, gets a little pricey when you get into Moton shocks et-al. Maybe you should PM kadelberg he has a '00 GTS that he's gone though a few suspension systems.

First option suggested is, " Leave it alone, " and get a good track alignment as SoCal suggested. The ACR shocks is questionable, as virtually all have
found the old ( Koni ) rattling shocks work great, but the new ones are a pain. This is in conjunction with way too stiff springs. You have numerous
National Champions in Viper Days who have run on the excellent stock shocks. Keep in mind , also, that adjustable shocks take a certain degree of
apptitude, that takes quite a while to learn, let alone master. I would be happy to assist with some ideas on a alignment set-up , from street/track to
aggressive. Initially work on this, tire pressures, and BRAKES --- pads, fluid, stainless lines, and cooling the afore mentioned. Enjoy and it is a remarkable
car on the track.

Hey Chuck,
I start with the ones I know I can beat!

SoCal,
Thanks, good point.

Bill,
Thankyou for your insight and for the record, the first thing I'm gonna do is BRAKES. Stopping fast is more important than accelerating fast. Although there is a fine line that separate the two.

Good idea. If I can swing it, I'm gonna try to make that event. I hope Gerald's garage queen doesn't mind my beat up #34 parked in the same pits.

Spend you money with Skip Barber. Start with the 2 day school follow with a few Car Control clinics then the 3 day racing school. repeat Car control as needed and do as many lapping days as possible.

That will give you the best improvement in lap time.

FOX NEWS ALERT: Drag Racing has been added to this event

I have to tell you all, it's hard d@mn work looking this good...but go ahead and bring it if you think you can beat my ********* car in the quarter...The 50 coats of Zaino reduces my drag coefficient by .01%!

Chuck, You can park your RT next to mine all weekend, provided it has been checked for social diseases!
