Gary,

I don't work "at work" on Saturdays, but can get you some ordered Monday if you want. The part number you need is 6034844 and they are around $4 each list which I won't charge you of course.

If you want just send me an Email at [email protected] with your information and I will call you Monday.

WOW 10 minute response time on a Saturday who is YOUR online parts source!

Just go to your local autobody supplier and they can hook you up for a pack of 20 rivets. Check your yellow pages for listings. That's what I did.

That rivet may work, but it's not the same. The OEM rivet is spilt, a rivet for brittle material. You don't want to use a conventional rivet on the inside of the composite panel, you could crack it by not using a split / bulb rivet.

Thanks for all the info guys- I found some of these on ebay and they look like they are worth a try. The oem rivets need a special gun to install so if this doesn't work out I will go that route.

These rivets will need a full-scale rivet gun just the the OEM rivets do.

As posted above, I DO NOT recommend these rivets for the exact reason pointed out above. This rivet style is designed for use into a metal surface or with a metal backing plate. The rivet expands from the shaft being pulled through it which require a very hard surface to stop/snap, where the OEM rivets bend out "legs" much like a sheet-rock anchor which does not try to push material outwards. Using it in a brittle material may cause the material to crack- it will likely happen in an area that you cant even see, in the material the fender itself mounts to, or whatever the rivet is securing to, not to mention it will not have nearly the pull-through resistance of the other rivet type.
