Resonator removal

hello everyone.
i am looking for someone who has done the following.
i have the snake oyl exhaust on my car. ( rear muffler removed )
i am thinking about having the resonators removed and replaced with straight pipe. i have 2 questions.

1) is it much louder? i am looking for a deeper exhaust note with a bit more rumble.
2) i want to do it in such a way that i can replace the resonators at a later date, if i ever need to. does any one make a direct replacement for the resonators, so i can slip them off and bolt on the new piece of pipe?

My friend replace the resonators with a staight pipe, it sounds very good what about a cat back system more horse power, much better sound and 4' tips
