Sounds like it could be fuel pressure leak down. I had rough re-starting after letting my 98 GTS sit for awhile. Had to have the fuel pump replaced. Here's a quick check to see if this is the problem. BEFORE you start your car do the following. Turn your ingnition on for about 3-4 seconds, but DON'T start the car. You'll hear the fuel pump come on after about 2 seconds. Turn the key back off. Do this for 3 cycles and start on the 3rd cycle. If you don't experience anymore rough acceleration after doing this check a few times you've solved the problem. Take it too your Viper tech and have him do a fuel pressure check. Good luck!
