Try doing it with someone knowledgeable first, maybe a local Viper Tech or fellow Viper owner? The rear hooks work the same on the hard and soft tops, pulling apart the "scissors" clamps. While the fronts lock in the same way, they have different mechanisms for you to use between the hard and soft tops. You'll likely need an allen wrench to fit into the slots for hard top, which in effect creates a lever like you see on the soft top, enabling you to turn the latch and unbolt it. The softtop is easier in that regard, simply turn the latches until you can lift up in the front. Regardless, until you know what you're doing, you want to have two people.
