I can get two sets in.
1. Spare tire out.
2. Walking bags a must, no staff bags.
3. Put woods from both sets in first.
4. Then try to squeeze the bags in!
5. Wear both sets of clothes to peel off if it is a weekend trip. There won't be any other room in the trunk!

My car cover fits quite snugly in the trunk. I hear the vette guys can carry golf clubs quite comfortably however.

Ya see, thats why I rollerblade, martial arts, and drink beer (not all at the same time, LOL) all my "equipment can fit into the trunk, along with top, and still have room for a travelbag.

I can't imagine fitting clubs in my trunk. Use a different car when you play at other courses. I would hate to see someone get a vette just because of the trunk.

Steemin,
I have driven the car for 40,000 miles. Most of the miles are to the golf course. Two bags, 4 shoes, no problem. 1 bag, 1 soft top no problem. No spare tire put in some fix-a-flat, just in case. No extra long putters will work. So if you are an old timer with the yips by a Vette!

You should be able to get creative, but with the soft top in the trunk, there is precious little room in the cavities on the far left and right (like the area behind the tail lights if you will-as viewed from the rear)...The Soft top really takes up that room.

I agree with the previous statement, I would hate to see someone choose the vette due to trunk space.

Remember, the Viper is a single purpose vehicle, to deliver a driving experience like no other! [This is a quote from the pamphlet with my owners manual, from Team Viper]...

The Viper delivers, period!

Timely question...
We are going to the other side of the island tommorow to see
(hear) Savoy Brown. It WILL rain somewhere along the way.
RT10 only please......
Wear the soft top all the way and keep the wifes idea of an
overnight bag in the trunk. Or, enjoy the weather and stash the top and side curtains in the trunk, and tell the little lady that she overpacked and must give up some lap or foot space ?

newportviper-thanks for the reply. So if I understand you correctly.. If I take the spare out I can put 2 soft sided carry bags in the trunk? Is there still room for the soft top with 1 or 2 bags in the trunk in case of rain?
Viper99-I do belong to a country club and they store my clubs and I have a locker for my shoes etc. However I do occasionally play other courses. What better way to travel to a golf course than in a viper.
makara-I certainly hope I can work this out as I really would prefer a Viper over a Corvette. My neighbor has a 2000 Corvette convertible and his trunk easily accomadates 2 sets of clubs.
He also has cup holders!!! I can certainly live w/o cupholders and all the other foo foo options..However I do need to be able to bring my clubs along.

NO way to get even one bag and the soft top in the trunk unless MAYBE with no spare. But DEFINITELY can NOT do 2 bags and the soft top.

From what I hear soft top is a real ***** to get on.

In a couple of weeks I've got to squeeze, a tent, sleeping bags
and all the kit for 2 people for a week in some how, for our club
trip to Lemans. Read somewhere the RT has 70% less space than the roomy GTS ?

Speaking of loaded trunks...When you need to store the side curtains AND soft top in the trunk, are you supposed to put the side curtains directly across the spare, then the soft top on top of the side curtains?

Vice-versa.
