Sapphire Blue Owners

I am considering an 01 Sapphire with stripes gts. I have a few questions. Does the sapphire blue color show dirt and swirls scratches like black does? Is it hard to keep clean? And what does the color look like in bright sunlite? Can anyone provide me with any nice pics, with stripes?

I have a Black Prowler which seems to easier to take care of the Blue Viper, go figure, After 30 years and toooooooo many cars, I have never had a blue car, I love it. The Paint does seem to be on the soft side.

It's not as hard to keep clean as black. That's for sure! At night it looks black. During the day, in the sun, it's unmistakably blue! When its dirty - it's dirty period. But nothing like black.

My last car was a '99 GTS solid black - much more difficult to clean. The blue is easier and looks great with stripes - especially in sunlight and, of course, under florescent lights.
