SCT Tune

Can someone educate me as to what tuning options are available for my Gen 3? It's a stock motor with B&B Hearder and exhaust (no cats) and a Hennesy cold air intake. What tunes are out there and are the gains worth it on a stock motor?

Talk with Dan Lesser, DC perf or Sean Roe. The SCT tune will provide gains in the range of 20-30rwhp about the same for Tq. The plus is more power under the curve and a more well mannered car with all around better performance.

As pointed out above, that is what we generally see. However, Gen-3 cars generally have larger gains under the curve, and gain massive increases in throttle response.

Just installed an SCT tune on my car, and on a Dynojet I picked up 15 HP and 20 LBFT.
The big change was the air fuel curve, with the SCT it was beautifully linear, stock it was getting pretty rich up around 5000 RPM, almost 10 to 1.
Additionally, throttle response seemed much improved.

Maybe I'll scan my dyno print out, but it's kinda dull, and hard to read.

Highly recommend this mod from either of the three sellers on here. I bought the tuner along with the low temp thermostat, the extra power was an added benefit.

It already had a K&N before, and SCT tune after, that's it.

428HP/453TQ before
442HP/472TQ after

Conservative mid Roe tune, didn't bother loading the aggressive tune, as I was on my way to the racetrack.
