Has anybody ever tried Seal Lube to stop engine leaks on their Viper? I've used it on my Stealth and it seems to work well. However, I'm a little hesitant about dropping 8 oz. in my crankcase on the V10. Comments?

I'd never put anything but oil in my engine. If there is a leak, I'd fix it or live with it.

No additive of this type is without a downside.

Heh, I am calling PETA on you, cuz how many seals were deprived of their lube so you could protect your engine?

Sleep with one eye open, cuz I gave GreenPeace your number also.

Took my 94 to the dealer. They tightened the oil pan, valve covers, and other items. Cost me about $100. Hopefully this will fix the oil leaks.

I'm still hesitant about using the seal lube on the Viper.

Pre 98 cars are bad for oil leaks at the timing cover. They leak on the driverside top. There where casting inperfections that need to be ground and a new gasket installed then the leaks stope
