It looks like I will have to sell my snake. Many of you know how much the car means to me - but some things come first I guess. I tried to talk my wife into letting me sell the kids, but no luck. Anyway, if you hear of somebody looking for a really sharp looking old R/T in excellent running condition - send them my way. It's posted on the VCA classifieds.

It's going to be hard driving something else to work. At least I'll be able to sing loudly to music without attracting too much attention.

I wouldn't mind a Gen III, but something about the no frills aspect of the Gen I car just makes me smile. I love the look on peoples faces when they try to open the door the first time. I just hope I can own another one someday.

Seasnake, I met you at ViperDays VIR. Also passed you on the way back from VOI6. We gave each other a little friendly grief about our choice of Viper colors. My advice is to do whatever you can to keep that Viper! Second job, third job, overtime, whatever. The color scheme is beautiful. Trust me, you will be sorry if you get rid of it.

I liked it so much I took a pic of it and posted it on my site...

Thanks for the support guys (and girl). Maybe I can moonlight as a Dominos Pizza driver. Wouldn't that be a sight with the little dominos sign on top of the car?

Sorry to hear of you selling your Viper. Like everyone here, I have always thought yours was one of the best looking Snakes out there. Sidepipes, 18" wheels, awesome stripes - it is one sharp car. Of course, I also understand how certain things take priority in your life, especially when things get tight during these interesting times. Funny enough (well, kinda), we have discussed what we would do if it became absolutely necessary and it is my wife who views selling the Viper as the last resort. Perhaps that is why her autographed Billy Joel piano is on eBay right now (ends tomorrow for you Billy Joel fans). She never showed that much interest in the car, but is adamant about trying to keep it. I couldn't be more pleased.

Best of luck, and I hope everything works out for you!

Chris
