Hi: Before I go ahead and order one of these assemblies form Northwind Engineering, I just wanted to see if any forum member may have a used set that they are looking to sell. I just picked up 2 K&N air filters from another forum member, and was able to save a few bucks, while helping to clean out some unused parts from him as well. It's for a 96 RT/10, and I am interested in the 1 inch lowering kit that will retain the fore/aft travel.........

Thanks, Chris.

Snampro: I'm not sure if I saw an older post on how you did it, however I am kind of limited on time (aren't we all), so I'm not sure when I would get around to fabricting something from scratch; was it easy enough that you could produce another kit to sell, or was that just a one time project for you?????

Thanks, Chris.

here's the thing, my kit was just a bunch (and I mean many) 1-1/4" washers, longer bolts, and some 1" steel that I cut to length. I then drilled holes in the steel to position the seats fore/aft where I wanted them and then installed the washers to get the right height and angles. I don't feel comfortable selling kits, but I will say what I did is solid as a rock and allowed me to get the seats exactly where I wanted them.

If you are in a hurry and don't mind spending the money I would just buy the manufactured kits.

good luck, and I'm sure you'll be as pleased with your lowered seats as I am.
