What's wrong with picture 928D-28 (left coil pack picture)? It's in the electrical/ignition section of a Gen 1 service manual.

The spark plug wires seem to headed in the wrong directions, no? All the even numbers should go one way (i.e. all the left side towers) and all the odds the other, yet the picture shows top two go one way, middle two go the other.

Yup, nerdy engineer ...

The shop manuals have a lot of errors in them. I was making note of them when I was reading through it, but my pen ran out of ink.

I think they cut and paste the text from other manuals for the basic stuff that applies to most vehicles. For example, I remember the manual advising that the vehicle be put in "PARK" (not the brake, but the "P" on the shifter) before working on it.

THAT IS NORMAL! The Viper Manuals are not to bad!
You should see the other Manuals for DC cars & trucks!

Tom,

They are still backwards in my manual for my 1996 GTS!

I understand that mistakes happen, but I would expect that they would get corrected, sometime...
