Hi Everyone,

We've watched, listened and learned over the last few years as our customers have taken the blower kits far beyond what we originally envisioned.
When we originally designed and built them, it was made to be a good power adder at a reasonable dollar / HP ratio. Never did we expect to see so many custom configurations, with chrome, custom paint and entire custom engine compartments made around the blower kit. Never did we expect to see so many of our customers drag racing and be so successful at it (Tony, Joe and Ward all running in the 9's regularly now, and about 1/4 of the cars at the V10 nationals race in Bradenton had our blowers).
For 2005, we plan to introduce a significant enhancement for the kit. It will be an add on, it will be a reasonable price and it will give a big seat of the pants difference.
We'll let you know when it's ready.
Happy holidays to all.

Regards,
Sean
PS. Our shop GTS now has 702 RWHP, 722 RWTQ, has 600 RWTQ at 1,700 RPM and is running on 9 psi boost :)

TEASE!

Sean, This may be a silly question - but do you have a "minimum recommended" upgrade list for each level of boost PSI. Reason I ask, is that my 93 Viper is currently stock - except for 3:73 gears and smooth tubes. I am going to take the heads off to replace the head gaskets this winter - in preparation for adding the SC later on in '05.

While it would be nice to port/polish the heads - I don't believe it is worth the extra $ (for me) if I plan to get your SC. But, should I do the rockers? Are the Harland Sharps that you sell sufficient - or are the Jesels worth the extra $. Should I upgrade the Valve springs using the kit you have on your website?

I do plan to open the exhaust up - high flow cats/mufflers - but not sure about headers - any thoughts?

As per your post - I'm one of the people looking for "good power adder at a reasonable dollar / HP ratio" - not trying to break the sound barrier or the bank - but don't want to break my motor by not making the appropriate upgrades - that would be relatively easy while the heads are off.

Thank you.

Merry Christmas and Merry HISSMAS!

Water injection and very favorably priced according to the bird that I talked to. And Stu, it's a bolt on so it's great news for everyone. :2tu: :usa:

Bob David just finished water/methanol injection in his. Although his belt was slipping (we think) he almost got another 100 rwhp and 2psi of boost. He maxed out around 665 rwhp/725 rwtq (dynojet) with the slippage and the injection. I think he starts his injection around 3 psi.

How many total pounds of boost is he running?

He was up to 10psi although with the slippage he was up to 8 or 9. I can ask him for details. He said his boost gauge was consistently at 10 psi on the street with the injection. It sounds pretty cool to hear the injection on the dyno too!!

Dangit Sean:
I didn't read all the replies...but that some great news. More decisions now...

BTW...will this be something that people with heads and cam can use?
Also, will it work on a Gen 1 S/C?

Just wanna make sure cause I don't want to be left out.

If the enhancement is water injection, does this allow creampuffs to safely raise the boost level as well?

Shelby 3 The heads where done by sean roe. The tuning i just got done after putting in an aggressive cam from comp cams a couple of weeks ago. Tuning done at F1 dyno in Portland maine on a brand new land and sea dyno. I was at 650 RWHP Before the cam change picked up another 25 RWHP.

When I dynoed last Saturday I was experimenting with the stock throttle bodies to see if size made a difference at this altitude. No doubt with a 10 lb pully you should run the 70mm for sure. They increased the boost to 11lb. My belt was slipping a little but I took care of that. I'm going back to the dyno tomorrow and should have better results.

Whatever it is, I want one!

Please make it compatible with creampuff pistons...

Maybe he could add another power adder.....like a jet engine. Then a 6-7 sec pass would be the results of this.

Sean,

You are an evil man throwing that tease out there! Especially to those of us in the middle of an install! Should we have waited? How about a Holiday Surprise like Simms said???? Happy Holidays all!

Sean, my New Year's resolution is to get a "Intercooler" for my supercharger in 05'. I hope my resolution comes true! Happy New Year, Sean!

My guess is that fuel injectors will be added in the intake in front of the blower. It will cool the air and make the mixture more dense, thus adding power and the ability to turn the boost up. The vec is already able to run the extra injectors so it would just be a mater of fuel pluming and mounting the injectors in the intake. Crazy idea. Hey?
