silver paint?

is it just me or the silver vipers look less reflective in the pictures than other vipers? the coat doesnt look like glass like with the other colors to me, whats up with this? (be gentle, this is potentially a dumb question)

the silver seems kind of dull to me too..no offense to anyone with silver.. yellowing side sills are much more obvious on the silver cars as well...

yeah, Silver is a nice color under some light conditions..such as night time in city lights, but in direct sunlight....sometimes..I wish I chose a different color. I like the titanium color that Ferrari uses...it's real nice looking. Like i said..it just depends on lighting conditions. I've seen red that looks dull to me, but I guess it all depends on what you like.

I also realized that the tint you use can effect the brillance of the paint. I went with this reflective smoke silver color tint and I hate it! The glass in the US has a greenish color to it and it causes the tint to look green that I have. I will have it removed and just put black tint on it because it hides the green and shows the silver more.

Here's my take:

Like any color, it's all in the details:

1.) Dawn Wash + Clay entire car.

2.) Remove swirls (3M Swirl Mark Remover for light colored cars or Perfect-It III Machine Polish). Use with Porter Cable Orbital Buffer.

3.) Once paint is swirl free and smooth as glass, go through the Zaino process.

Trust me, your Viper will be extremely reflective if you use this process.
