Just go to your local dodge dealer and ask for them. They are stock for the 2001 grey rt10. I will warn you that they are expensive. I think it cost about 160 bucks for lettering for both sides.

Got mine from JonB at PartsRack.
Less expensive than the dealerships for certain.
I put the chrome on my red RT/10. They look real nice.

Where did you get your side gills/louvers? How much were they?

Those shark-gills, painted any Viper color, $775 thru PartsRack. They simply replace the body panel "hinge cover"

The chrome or black or silver etc logos from PartsRack, usually in stock, include a nice chat on how to remove /restyle / relocate the OLD and install the new. THANKS !

Jon, How about unpainted? Thanks, Anthony

The MoPar emblems come pre-painted in most OE colors or Chrome. Those cars that have OE chrome, do NOT have an OE color available except for the rear !

As to WHY RT/10 costs almost 40% more than GTS ? I asked MoPar the same thing. I was told, jokingly:

"R-T-/-1-0 has 40% more characters than G-T-S!"

Come to think of it, the same could be said about Viper Owners!

Anthony 98 GTS,
The side louvres are from MetalCrafters. Painted and shipped were about $850.
JonB probably gets them from MetalCrafters and seems to have them cheaper. Easily installed and well made.

Tony:

If you get the chance, do you have a side photo of your entire car showing the "shark gills". They're really intriguing, and I'd like to see the look from a bit more distance - enough to see the whole body side.

Thanks,

Scott

Bill,
I asked a good body shop owner friend about the logos. He said
use any acrylic model paint, they are plastic letters. I tried
it, see below. You can always repaint or replace.

Zoomie,
Very patriotic. Tastefully done. I'm trying to keep mine as close to original as possible but with ideas like this it keeps getting more difficult.

JonB Or Viper Wizard,

Would one of you please post the PN's and prices for the RT emblems in the lighter gray color (NOT chrome)? I think the light gray would be cool on a green with the stock '95 wheels.

I am looking for all 4 of the RT body lettering (left, right, and both rear bumper) emblems plus the front and rear snake head "shields".

Also, do either of you know if the letters can be re-used once they have been removed from the car? If not then I would also need the PNs/$ for the stock green emblems so I can return to stock.

Thanks in advance,

JT

JT,
The "Dodge" for the rear in Quartz #GC54MD5 MRSP $28.95
The "Viper RT/10" for the rear in Quartz #GC43MD5 MSRP $58.25
The "Viper RT/10 for the sides in Quartz #GC53MD5 MSRP $73.25ea.

The Medallions [Hood & Trunk] in "Silver" only in 1999:
Hood #PF00V4S MSRP $54.95
Trunk #MB59VAD MSRP $43.10

In 2000 they made the Medallions in "Charcoal":
Hood #PF0005S MSRP $54.85
Trunk #JW4005S MSRP $58.70

You might be able to re-glue them back on??
They made two greens - "Emerald Green" and "Dark Green"?
I don't know witch ones you want?

Viper Wizard,

Thank you for the prompt and detailed answer.

Is there a VCA member discount?

May I assume that the "quartz" lettering and "silver" medallions will match each other?

JT
