looks better than the 12 dollar one I bought. The sob sent me a single resistor, instructions say "bend the leads and stick it into the ends of the connector" got it stuck in me...

not trying to dog anyone, but this looks exactly like the one that summit sells for $25 or $28. If you buy the one for the corvette, it is identical. I bought the summit one years ago and it has been working well since. easy to install... just like this one. Jegs has it even cheaper i've heard...

Actually, the resistor method works just fine. Buy a 5-pack of 2.2 ohm 1/2 watt resistors at radio shack for one dollar. Just like you said, bend the leads, insert into connector, then seal it all up with electrical tape and zip ties. For one dollar I did my GTO, my son's GTO, and the Viper. Still had two left over.

That is the same one that I put in my car. I paid $35 plus shipping on the vendor here...don't need to mention the name. Only if I knew that I could purchased a resistor in Radioshack...maybe next time for the next viper

I think it is a bit pricey, but, that is THE one that I bought for my car. Super simple plug-in and very nice quality. I could not build that for $1.
