I can hear a slight ticking sound fom the engine bay after the car has warmed up a bit. Ticking frequency increases/decreases with engine RPM. Dodge dealer claims it's normal. I have a bone stock 2002 GTS. The car's power seems fine and all fluids are at normal levels. It's just a bit annoying, especially when idling at a red light to hear that ticking over the exhaust burble. Any hints? Should I be worried? Are there recommendations for further diagnosis?

Yeah, the rockers on this engine are VERY noisy. I was worried about it for quite a long time, but 27,000 miles later nothing bad has happened. Also, in that time I've had the chance to spend time around a LOT of other Vipers and they all do it.

As somebody told me the first time I posted the same question here: It's a BIG engine. They make a lot of noise. :)

Might be the evaporator inside the fascia. Obviously difficult to diagnose on the internet. Put your location in your profile and maybe somebody nearby can help.

It's the fuel injectors and it is normal even though the dealer just said that because thats what they say.
