Just got my new V1 and was very surprised that it is 1/4 of an inch slimmer than my year old one(top to bottom). Also, it is maybe half of the weight of my older style 1.

Looks great in the car above the mirror. I know some people in the past didn't like the huge older V1 but this is a vast improvement.

Just thought you guys and girls would like to know.

It's mounted above the mirror with the suction cups and then ran the wire in the slot between the glass and the trim down the rightside, unsrewed the trim pieces and the plug(wire) comes out by the cig lighter, I am also running the small remote to be a little more stealthy.

Bruce, I am considering to go with the hi flow cats, to get rid of some heat.

Gary and Bruce,

Just a thought, I have a Valentine also Bobby Archer put my RJ45 plug connection in the ash tray. It fits perfectly in there. So when I would use it I used the cups for the windshield and ran the short coiled cord and connected to the ash tray. When I was not using the only thing that was visual were the cups on the windshield and the ash tray door would be closed.
