I recently had the timing chain cover gasket replaced and for the most part it seems not to leak. However if I let it sit for a week I will have one small drop of oil on the floor. It drops from the center of the cross member under the engine, right in front of the oil pan. Does anyone have an idea what this could be?

Might be a silly idea...but since several have posted about a certain amount of oil getting into the airbox....did you check the three little drain "thingies" on the bottom of the airbox? Just throwing out a bone...... :)

I did check the air box and that looks ok, but I will have to check again. I will also have to check those screws. Thanks

Don't forget the timing chain cover...gasket AND the cover itself, as the covers on several 98's have been said to have a hairline crack...know of several myself.
